​Our Story

 

It is hard to believe that we met almost 35 years ago as sophmores in college at Pensacola Christian College!  This year marked our 30th wedding anniversary and we spent the day "celebrating" by finishing up our new music CD "There Is A Remedy". 

 

Since accepting the Lord as Savior, our goals have been the same.  Even before we met we were determined to be used of God in any way HE saw fit! What a joy to have all four of our parents encouraging us to do just that.

 

After college we were directed to the ministry of Grace Baptist Church in Birmingham, MI with our dear mentors and friends the Whitfields, and spent 10 wonderful years, learning, growing and being used by God to share the gospel and prepare others for eternity!  Our beautiful girls were born there and it was there that we first got to sing together.  Those that were there remember those little girls and their little voices.  What a joy to watch them grow and seek the Lord for themselves! Because of their gracious support our first recording "Memories of Grace" (2002) became a reality.

 

The years in Florida were such a blessing, being near family and again "stretching" our minstry gifts. Victory Baptist opened the door for so many ministry opportunities, and it was there Jame' started accompanying us in our singing regularly. "Happy Am I" was sung often!

 

Camp CoBeAc in Houghton Lake, MI was the next step on our journey and as we got to travel and represent the camp, we sang!  Because we had more opportunity to share our lives and music, we were able to expand our music ministry with two CDs "Happy Am I" (2007) and "Not the Same" (2010).  The Lord then led us back into church ministry at our home church,  Anchor Baptist in South Haven, MI with Pastor Theron Crawford, and we have had such a joy, seeing more folks directed to the gospel, baptized and added to the church.

 

Jame and I have said for years, we are not the letter, or the letter carrier, just the STAMP (Supplying Timely Assistance to Missionaries and Pastors)  Our goal with this new recording "There Is A Remedy" (2014) is to share Christ and be a help and blessing to believers.
